Karissa Schantol is a California native who relocated to Las Vegas in 1999 with her family. Her classical ballet training began in California and was completed at the Academy of Nevada Ballet Theatre. She is well versed in the Vaganova, Cecchetti, and Royal Academy of Dance methods. In addition to Ballet, Karissa has trained in Jazz, Hip-Hop, Character, Modern, Folkloric Middle-Eastern Dance, Flamenco, African, and Lyrical. After graduating form their academy Karissa joined Nevada Ballet Theatre where she danced professionally for 4 years. Karissa is an ABT® Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Primary through Level 3 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum.
