All of our Youth classes are designed to introduce and secure a proper foundation in dance. These classes provide a motivating pace and variety to engage a child’s attention and interest.
All age requirements are based on the students age, as of October 1, 2010

Mommy and Me (Age 2-3)
Explore dance with Mom, or Dad…or both! Have fun while gaining a practical introduction to movement in ballet and creative dance. Mommy and Me class helps develop coordination, creativity, social behavior, basic classroom skills, and musicality.
Predance (Age 3-4)
Predance combines creative dance with ballet and tap. Students develop rhythm, balance, coordination and basic fundamentals.
Combodance (Age 4-5)
Combodance combines 40 minutes of primary ballet with 20 minutes tap. This busy class will build a (rock) solid foundation in dance basics and classroom skills.
TapJazz (Age 5-7)
Students are introduced to the fundamentals of technique and vocabulary, while gaining coordination and rhythm. 1/2 hour devoted to each discipline.
Pre Ballet (Age 3-5)
In Pre-Ballet, students will learn the primary lessons of ballet technique. 1 hour.
Jr Ballet (Age 5-8)
We offer 3 levels (1, 1a, 2) of Jr Ballet for ages 5-8. 1 hour lessons in ballet technique. Jr Ballet 2 students attend ballet class twice per week.
Jr Jazz 2(Age 6-8)
Jr Jazz 2 continues a young dancers training from TapJazz, devoting a full hour to jazz technique including warm-up structure, isolations, contractions, stretch, use of space, musicality, expression, preparations, turns and jumps, choreography.... So much to learn!
Jr Tap (Age 6-7)
Jr Tap 2 continues a young dancers’ training from TapJazz, devoting a full hour to tap technique, vocabulary and musicality. Improvisation and more challenging choreography is introduced.
Hip Hop Kids (age 6+)
This class is designed strictly for students to let loose and DANCE! HipHop choreography and freestyle dance promotes coordination, rhythm and confidence. There is one requirement for this class - FUN!
