Class Placement

Class placement is determined by age, physical development, and level of previous training.

  • Over time, class placement will be based on class participation, attendance, progress, ability, attitude, and consistency
  • All placement decisions are made, strictly regarding the best interest of each individual student.
  • Class placement decisions are at the discretion of the teachers and the director of The Rock Center for Dance. For more information regarding class placement, please contact us or consult therockcenterfordance information booklet. Please register your child in a class level, using the general guideline below. If we feel a child is placed in the wrong level, we will change their class/classes accordingly. The Rock Center for Dance may ask for your child to attend a “Placement Class” to assure proper class level placement. Placement classes are free of charge.
